He looks very much like a country GP, or have I just watched too much UK tv!

Good luck to your son and his medical studies. Here in NZ entrance is not restricted if you have good enough grades to enter Uni, but only 10% of students make it past first year health sciences and go on to study medicine. My daughter considered it but the financial and time commitment was too much for her to get her head around so she stayed at home (medicine is studied in Dunedin and Auckland) and is doing a science degree majoring in physics and hopes to become a medical physicist so still in the medical field. fabric epiphanieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08315635356310954354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7451620064759054335.post-6948266443738317292016-06-13T04:18:22.549-07:002016-06-13T04:18:22.549-07:00I wish her all the best!

Sob!!
She's planning on psychology, and is the first of my 4 that not only KNEW what field she wanted to obtain, her degree in when she started, but is STILL sticking to it. She seems pretty sure still, so that means she'll most likely also continue on to get her Masters, if not also her PHD. (Doctorate)

On a completely different subject, I'm SO impressed by all the clothing you've made, it boggles my mind. In the past I thought the "EGLINGTON" you stenciled on some of your clothing was you last name, but somewhere along the line, I noticed you included your name, so then I googled it, and wikipedia had something about it being related to soccer,(I think) but also an "unpopulated locality in Western Australian". So now I'm thinking it's your hometown or something? I hope I'm not getting too personal here, it's just that I've noted the tape you've put around necklines (as well as the stencils) and have wondered where you obtain it.
Truth be told, I've been fascinated with anything Australia since I've been in High School, and one of our exchange students was from there.
Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923783597695362751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7451620064759054335.post-47693669023567994242016-06-08T04:35:29.089-07:002016-06-08T04:35:29.089-07:00Good on him. I guessed that is was "med school" admission related, but I was pretty sure Hugo wasn't old enough to be and undergraduate grad (i.e. had earned a a college degree) In the the US, one has to have an undergraduate degree in order to take the MCAT. So how many years does one study medicine in Australia?
