The Perfect T

Well, according to Elsa
It is the Oliver+S Field Trip tee
The size 12 with no mods in a very stretchy cotton/spandex is the perfect fit.
She particularly likes the raglan sleeve.
I particularly like this method to sew the neck band.
A short sleeved version made a groovy sleep top.
My first attempt at freezer paper stencilling.
It won't be my last.
The bottoms are the Oliver+S Sleepover pyjamas sized up to a 14.
Made with some flannelette from Spotlight.
I think I need to work on my placement.....
The tee got quite the work out on our holiday.

  1. Great tee - and love the freezer paper stencilling. I really must give it a try some time. You gave me a laugh with that last picture - but I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out :D

    1. I purchased the paper an age ago but kept putting it in the too hard basket.
      It really wasn't.

Blame Hugo for the smutty robot comments...

      Thank you!

Like Jane - I wouldn't have noticed your placement without you pointing it out ;-)

  3. I really like that method Justine, with this pattern you need to cut the neck band just a tad wider, to have it fold over nicely.

    Thank you!

  5. Hahahaha. That poor girl has to watch those robot hands ;-) This is an awesome basic tee - you did a great job with the freezer stencil (I love those). Using that red on white was daring! lol. It turned out great and those pants... too cute!
