Oh my
The Figgy's Sunki for a big girl.
Elsa is 14 1/2 and this is the large (there is a larger size too).
So, I would say this is a girls 14 to a ladies 8 (AUS).
I think we will add some length to the sleeves and the hem next time.
Its a tunic really, not a dress, but my girls like to wear it as one.
And they can carry it off!
Thanks for popping by!

Adorable! She looks like she just stepped off the pages of a 60s fashion magazine. Gorgeous girl!
ReplyDeleteThank you Trinh. I love it when a wish comes true!

Wow! The fit is amazing on her. I completely missed this new sizing launch. It looks so sophisticated on an older girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katy. I always loved this dress but only got to make it once for the Twins.
DeleteSo happy it is available in bigger sizes.

She definitely pulls it off as a dress. It looks great on her.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteDon't you love having girls?
xx N
Um yeah, I'm gonna need that for myself. Hopefully the Weight Watchers will be successful? :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteIf I can shed enough pudding I would have a go at one myself!.

And she could always wear it with leggings/tights when the weather gets colder...
ReplyDeleteI noticed they don't have the measurements up yet for the new larger sizes, but I would still buy it anyway.
I think it will look fab with leggings Rachel.
DeleteThey are good generous sizing, E&Z are slim but sporty with good curvy bums and we still have a size to go.

Love it on her. Perfect choice for a grown up lass.
ReplyDeleteI love that we BOTH love this pattern.
ReplyDeleteIts a really quick sew for you sewing buck.
Thank you Peta.

Um, wow! She's such a beautiful young woman! I seem to remember they were still "kids" when I started following your blog. This dress is GREAT for a more womanly figure. I want one! It's the perfect 60s sheath.
ReplyDeleteShe has grown up all of a sudden Inder, but it is great fun (most of the time)
DeleteI think this would look fab on you!

ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy.
ReplyDeleteI wish her feet were half a size bigger...
