'School Days' at the top of her voice.
It is a tradition I have continued with my own tribe......and I don't think they appreciate it any more then Binita did.
But we have had an awesome holiday.
Off course,we had Christmas.
And New Years Day at the lake.
Barbecue's a'plenty.
A visit to Wiggly Worms play cafe for Lidia and Matilda.
(The noise had to be heard to be believed)!
A quick trip to Adelaide to catch up with Hugo whilst he was at Geology camp.
My sister Veronica and her friend Guy. |
As did special friends.
There was plenty of making.
And some new pets.
Of course we went to the beach.
But tomorrow its school days.
And Tildy starts kindy.
And I am going to cry and cry.
School days! sigh....

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful holiday! It always seems so odd to see Christmas in the summer when it's all about sledding parties and hot cocoa around here:) How has the poplin bathing suit held up? I've been searching for just the right fabric for swimming shorts and never thought to use it.
ReplyDeletep.k. My youngest starts next year.... bitter sweet, eh?
The poplin is wearing really well!

They got home at 4pm,she had a great day and she wants to go tomorrow.
sigh....

Oh she is amazing. Youve done so well bringing up such a confident little thing. Still so hard though! Make sure you have some cake preferably chocolate, it's good in these situations.
ReplyDelete(Can't believe the twins still fit those gorgeous Playdates, how fab).

Tildy looks so happy and you know you have done a super job if she was ready for you to go and that she wants to go again. I know how hard it was for you. I am both a kindergarten teacher and a mother. My 'baby' turned 18 last weekend. He'll be going to college next August. How did the time go so fast?! I sure wish I had more than two children! Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! She has grown so much! Big girl. Sniffle. Hang in there, mum.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a wonderful holiday break. Hugs to you, hope it is getting easier. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Girls.
ReplyDeleteShe ended up doing all 3 days,no break, and is very very happy.
I appreciate your warm words and thoughts so much.
I am pleased she is happy but I am missing her so much. I really can't believe how much it hurts.
