The Long Sew

I finally finished it!
Lidia's Music Class blouse by Oliver+S.
The classic untucked girls blouse pattern.
If you wish to tuck, add some length!
We went with view B, the dear little mandarin collar.
Lidia chose a white linen with a delicate sheen which we purchased here.
She used her signature square MOP buttons
I like the pin tucks my self but Liddy preferred the soft gathers.
Her inspiration?
This outfit.
My little girl is a-growing up!
Liddy decided to have red jeans made, with a fab remnant from our Melbourne shopping trip.
She even wants me to distress them.

But they will have to wait a few weeks, the Twins have a black tie invite and need posh frocks!

xx N

PS A semi tute for the blouse here

    1. Thank you Sharon.
That is the lovely thing about O+S, I can 'do' groovy but it will still be classic.

  4. Such a lovely blouse - I love this pattern, but have yet to try this version.
Looks so perfect in white (I also prefer the pintucks, but the gathers look rates nice for this style). She will look so stylish (as usual ..) :)

  5. Lidia loves this blouse Ana Sofia, it fits her wide shoulders but is still 'pretty'.
I do enjoy sewing it as well.
    Thank you!

  6. Very pretty! I love the beautiful white fabric. You sure find great fabric on ebay, I don't have such luck here in the US ;-)
I love that she has a "signature" button too. lol. so cute.

  7. Thank you Kristin, I am very lucky with eBay (not that I should be shopping for more fabric)
Yes, she has 'claimed' those buttons as her own.
