Sewing for Jed

Jed's turn again.
I finally made his Liberty shirt.
I have only had the fabric for two years.....
Vintage Butterick
The boxy over size 80's look works really well in the silky lawn and accommodates Jed's tummy really well.
I love sewing with Liberty.
Capel is one of my favourite prints.
Paired with smokey charcoal buttons.
Look at the drape!
Le sigh, I love Liberty.
Next up, more jeans!

  1. Thanks Masha, I feel slightly ashamed at howl long it took me to get around to sewing it up but i was terrified at cutting into the fabric.

  3. Thank you Jane.
He is very taken with how soft it is, he says it feels lighter then his other lawn shirt.
I would happily sew Liberty shirts all day long.

  5. So long as every metre he buys for himself he buys a metre for his darling seamstress!
