The Divine Olivine

WARNING
Lots of photos of Liddy.

I made Lidia an Olivine dress by Clever Charlotte dress for her 9th Birthday.
And here it is....
I adore this pattern as much as the other Clever Charlotte patterns.
And,I did purchase it-as soon as I could!
The pleats are to die for!
The panelled skirt is sublime.
Tre's jolie,tre's chic,Non?
It will move beautifully into the cooler months.
Worn here with the Clever Charlotte Kestrel coat
(Which I do have a tutorial for here)
Isn't it loverly?
And guess what? The Peridot collar fits it so nicely.
So sweet!
As does the pretty beaded collar we picked up in Equipe.
(They had a black AND a peach version I am itching to go back and purchase)
As I was packing things up Liddy wandered out in her Christmas Wren dress,I couldn't resist.
(Tute here)
I love it with her coat.
Just love her.
Special thanks to Zara for all her help with setting up and styling.

I worried it may be a bit plain but she insisted and I think she is very clever!

  2. Absolutely divine! I have that pattern, but am yet to make it up. A beautiful dress, and the different coloured pleats are such a lovely touch. Gorgeous coat too. As always, you've done a superb job (and your girl is so adorable - and reminds me of mine in that first photo; maybe Clare could do with fab red glasses too!)

    1. Thank you Lara,
It is surprisingly to sew despite the couture look.
I love Lidia's new glasses,I thought she would choose aqua frames but I guess she had a plan!

Such a beautiful dress (I'm itching to get mine, as well)! The pleats really caught our eyes and the fit is great on her. Very French, indeed!

I have one Clever Charlotte pattern but not made it yet. Your fabric choices and items you've put them with are fab! Lucky girls!
