|The Chataigne shorts|
They are supposed to be for school but I think they may be worn before.
There are two front pockets which I lined with Liberty.
Sneaky school uniform.
The two piece back waist band ensures a lovely fit.
The back flaps are faux but still super cute!
The shorts do up with a side invisible zipper.
And are fully faced.
Another way to sneak in some pretties.

Love them, fab sew. The instructions are not 'fluffy' but everything you need to do is there.
If you have not installed an invisible zip before I have a few tips in this post.
Zara was the smallest size for the waist and the next for her hips so I simply traced the waist pieces for the size 34 and the front and backs for the size 36 and blended the two.
I used a mercerised gabardine for the main and a Liberty lawn for the facings. As the lawn is quite fine I interfaced all the waist pieces, main and lining.
A lovely sew I will definitely do again.
(Even if I can't pronounce the pattern name)
