Everything Old is New Again

In an attempt to keep things fair this year
I decided to sew each family member one garment(or outfit) and then move on to the next.
Hugo has had his polo&knit short fix.
Liddy has her new Tea Party dress.
Zara was next.
She chose another oliver+s Fairy Tale dress. As I had already made a muslin it was simple to sew it up!
We used a vintage piece of cotton and had just enough to finish it.
I have a tutorial in the works but I couldn't help but share these photos of my beautiful girl.

My lovely young lady.
oliver+s Music Class blouse and Sailboat skirt
And her equally lovely Twin.

  1. Love it! I would love this style for me, how tall are the twins?

  2. Thank you Jennifer.
    According to Hugo,145 cm tall.
Zara may be a smidge taller.
I wouldn't be surprised if it fit you especially is you used a cloth with a little stretch for ease.

  6. Very pretty dress for a pretty girl! The exposed zipper is growing on me. I am excited to read your tute. When I made the one for halloween I skipped steps and only "half-a**ed" it. I so want to take the time again to make one perfect.

  7. Thanks Brittany,I skipped a few steps...it is not very true to the original this time.
I must make one for Tilly using the proper steps. I am sure it will be better.
