Another Shirt for the 'Go

This time in a cotton broadcloth.
Very rustic.
A repeat of the Aime Comme Marie 'Mister' shirt
Hugo chose the details.
I wasn't convinced.
But its his shirt!
Now its made?
I love it!
Men don't get a lot of clothing choices.
So pleased to have found a great shirt.

  1. Oh yes, he chose well! I love how much effort and love and care you put into the details in your kids' clothes. When will we get modelled shots? :)

  2. Thank you Jane.
Hugo went on Pinterest to find what he wanted. I must admit I wasn't thrilled about the thought of dark top stitching on cream but he was adamant.

I hoped to pin him down for some photos tonight but Jed nabbed him to catch fly blown ewes.
I think he would have rather modelled ......

  3. You are so right, N, men get so few choices and when they do make bold ones, it's very eye catching. Hugo has excellent taste!

  4. Thanks Christine.
I think the fact that Jed is quite bold with his clothing choices (and he is a seriously hairy butch looking chap) give Hugo the confidence to wear what he likes.
Soooo lucky, some of my friends boys live in trackies and Grateful Dead t-shirts.

  6. He has great taste!! I love those cream details, and the topstitching would have terrified me as well, but you executed it flawlessly! Again, I see this shirt, and it just screams Benedict as Sherlock to me. Yummmmm. (Sorry, I know this is your son we're talking about, but this is exactly the style and cut of shirt Sherlock always wears!)

Hugo spent quite a while looking before he made his mind up. I can't wait to show you!

  11. Another lovely shirt! I like the contrast and the back darts are a nice touch in a boys' shirt.

    1. The young men seem to like a fitted shirt now, the darts are a a lot quicker then three piece backs.
      Thank you Joy.
