Fancy a Late Lunch?

I do.
The Liesl+Co Late Lunch tunic that is.
Another lovely pattern from the lovely Liesl.
I made this pattern up when I was about 30 weeks pregnant with Beatrix, from a wool/modal knit.
It was lovely if a little voluminous, which I put down to the fabric 'growing'.
So I decided to make another, the same size, but in a woven.
Size 8 with a DD FBA.
I ran through the process here.
What a difference some firmness makes.
(Works with my children too- snigger)
The fabric is a silvery sheen coated linen, it sewed up beautifully!
I topstitched all the seam for a casual look and went with my signature MOP buttons.
As well as my signature speckley voile trim.

With the FBA it fits like a glove, I am so pleased.
Modelled pictures soon.

Check out who is growing fast....

    1. This is the nicest top on my body shape. Tiny shoulders, big boobs and a bit messy in the middle :)
      I love it, thank you!
Trixie is growing way too fast!

  3. That looks fantastic! I gave my first one to a friend and am keen to make a second (more appropriately sized). Looking forward to seeing the modelled version. And that little one, she is growing so fast! Adorable.

  4. I read your blogpost Lara, and sized back and FBA-ed up on your advice. I could see this in one of your amazing fabrics you rock so well!
