I don't think I stopped grinning the entire time I was sewing these overalls for Tildy.
I was nervous they may be a bit 'out there' but I wanted to sew them so badly.
The pattern came to me in a bundle of sewing stuff and I have been waiting to sew it.The fabric is some printed stretch sateen that Zara purchased a few years back.
She changed her mind before I got around to sewing it, Lucky Tildy!
I sewed the straight size 7 for her. The only change was too add side belt loops and a self tie.
The fit is perfect. I got very lucky.
I don't think it will fit her for very long and the fact that it has stretch keeps it comfortable.
I am encouraging her to wear it as much as possible.
~Tildy's Verdict~
I really love the fabric.
Also I love it because I can were it whenever I want.
It is not just for good.
I am pretty sure this gets worn most weekends, it is nice to get a win!
Thank you for reading

Love her comment that it's not just for good--high praise! A fine outfit for a young archer.
ReplyDeleteThat made me giggle too.
DeleteSo nice to have something you love that you can wear everyday, pulling your bow with ease is a bonus.
Thank you
