Village Frock Fun

Village Frock by Sugar City
I feel a bit mean posting these pictures. The pattern is so hard to come by. I am very very lucky.
Those wonderful sleeves.
I added a good 10 inches to the length,I may shorten,or I may not.
I did shorten the neck band considerably as my girls are very slight.
I gathered the neck as tightly as I could and cut the neck band to fit.
Lidia's was perfect.
Matilda's looks a little scrunchy....but that may be the ramie fabric.
Perfect for sword fights.
And spoiling your sisters photo opportunities.
And whizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy's
Zara working the oliver+s style.
Fingers crossed that you find a copy!

  5. Oh my goodness, these dresses are SO lovely. I would have loved one of these as a little girl, and would have dreamed of being a princess, or Juliet (from Romeo & Juliet), or who knows what. I probably would have loved a sword fight too (my imagination being quite malleable - why should Romeo have all the fun?).
