Clever Clever Charlotte

Tildy's birthday is fast approaching so I thought I would make her dress before changing the overlocker threads for Hugo's jeans.
I went with the Clever Charlotte Wren dress which I may have made a few times before
I had this plaited belt in mind when I found this suede cording in a cheap bin at Spotlight.
And Tilly loves the Tula Pink Prince Charming as much as Liddy does.
The quilting cotton was quite nice to sew and the dress hung just as nicely without the belt.
The invisible zipper always looks nice.
I do love how this print tells a whimsical story.

Do you like it?
Would you like to make one?
If you do,just have a wee peep here
As Tildy would say 'You are MOST welcome'

    1. It is weeny Sandi and only just fits her through the underarm but I already had it cut out.
      It looks super cute still.

  4. Love it - the pleats do sit so nicely in the quilting cotton.
Lucy's 2T still fits her too!

  6. Another great look, Nicole! I agree that this print really adds something to the overall design--subtle but interesting and definitely little girl appropriate!
