Nothing like getting sand in ones toes no matter the temp. Thanks Nicole for checking in on me. I've been following your sewing and quite like the Clever Charlotte patterns you've made. Getting good inspiration! I'll be back sewing in short order. Meanwhile, check out my family blog www.mygreatwhitenorth.blogspot.com to see what I've been doing.Getting anxious to thread a needle again.Cheers!Deb
Love the pics! It does look chilly!
Great to hear from you Deb,I will check out your other blog. Thanks Justine,it was cold, but we love the beach in winter.
The beach is fun no matter the weather!
Absolutely Cindy,I hope Jed and I can retire there one day....
Thank you!It was!x N
This is how we look at the beach too -- hats, sweaters and buckets -- as we prefer going to the ocean in the cool seasons. I'm not sure my daughter knows most people plan on a swim suit and warm breezes when they think of a holiday at the sea. At least there's no threat of a sunburn with that much skin covered!
I can't go out in the sun-I burn and so do Son&Heir and Missy's L &M!The Twins go brown looking at a post card!Even in summer,Robe is cool and we swim in wet suits, but its often deserted except for the odd horse and rider-my kind of beach!x N
I love how empty and peaceful it looks with only you all there! I would love the beach more if I were able to have that experience!
We love our weedy beach!
Hello to Missy L and your photographer! The pics look like a summers day at the beach in Ireland. I hope they're not too sad at the end of the holidays.
Always sad to leave.....but lovely to go back!Thank you Angela!x N
