Several lovely people have sent me emails to say my blog won't accept their comments. I have checked with Blogger,mine is not the only blog affected but they have no ideas beside the normal-check your spam filter.
Their suggestion is...
I'm not sure what else they can do to be honest. I can leave a message with no issues and until we can get their Browser and Version numbers there won't be much they can do or check. Maybe ask your readers via a blog post to try and leave a comment and if they don't work get them to email you their browser and version numbers, then at least we'll be able to see if there is a pattern developing and a problem with a particular browser/version.

I have problems too with commenting on certain blogs - I have never had a problem with yours though. I have found that the problem is with Internet Explorer. I use that on my laptop and have many problems and there are lovely blogs that I cannot comment on. However, on my home computer I use Firefox and never have a problem with commenting.

I also switched to Firefox as Explorer wouldn't let me comment - that was now about 6 months ago, so it's a long standing problem!

ReplyDeleteI did lower my cookie filtering (not happily I might add) and I haven't had any problems since. I don't really understand though how that's the supposed problem when it only cropped up this week. Unless blogger changed something in their settings...??????
That was the one thing I didn't try Cindy,because I didn't really understand and I was worried I would make it worse!
